Pointing Out (Level One is an 8 day teaching retreat)

Sydney - March 12 to 19, 2017 (open to all)

The pointing out style is an ancient way of teaching meditation that is firmly grounded in the teacher-student relationship. The teacher offers detailed explanations of typical meditation experiences, ways to practice, and common problems that arise at each stage of meditation practice. Students describe their meditation experience in sufficient detail while the teacher carefully monitors the student’s meditation progress. This is an eight day retreat that supports and transforms all levels of experience with meditation practice.

Pointing Out (Level 3B is an 8 day teaching retreat)

    Sydney - March 19 to 26, 2017

Level 3a and 3b retreats are Dzogchen retreats taught in collaboration with Rahob Tulku Thupten Kalsang Rinpoche. Both are transmission courses and are restricted access.

The Level 3b retreat is designed for those who have attained relatively stable awakened awareness on and off the pillow. Rinpoche gives a transmission on more advanced teachings, which include automatic self-liberation of all states (dharmadhatu exhaustion), the original purity of all phenomena, non-ordinary perception, and all-at-onceness via the teachings on the limitlessness of Buddha-fields and Buddha-Bodies.
